Achievements This Week
Published 22 March
This week I've been hard at work spicing up all areas of Baldi's, A.K.A Amonn AL-Mahrouq's, motivational Home on the Web.
Beginning with my, Contact Baldi, A.K.A Amonn AL-Mahrouq page my intention is to work systematically through every page, streamlining and modernising code, adding appropriate images, and detail where opportunities arise making my site more inspirational, approachable, and informative.
My next port of call will be to re-write my Baldi's Inspirational Blog home page text, which I am aiming to finalise and upload early next week, providing you yet another motivational reason to check back.
Carrying on my theme of writing, I am inspired to say this week also sees the completion of two more book chapters.
In
Piano news I'm currently polishing, Baldi polishing, lol, get it? I couldn't resist! "Sonata in C minor from 14 Sonatas" composed by Antonio Solar, who I blogged about in a post titled, "Inspired by Solar" last month, and this week I've begun polishing "Leid Des Bauern", "Peasant's Song" by Greig.
In other inspiring news this weekend, I began, and completed thanks a You Tube Video the re-lacing my new Figure Skates in readiness for my session, and lesson next week at Guilford Spectrum Ice Rink, leaving me to ask you three questions,
One:What have you achieved this week?
Two:Which goals have you set yourself for next week? One of mine will be to keep the momentum going by beginning another book chapter, with the aim of completing my first book within a few weeks. In the meantime
and,
Three:Which New Experience will you embrace?
Keep inspiring us, speak soon!
The Courtyard Southsea
Published 15 March
Located in the heart of
Southsea Castle, Southsea, Hampshire, United Kingdom, The Courtyard Cafe was established in April 2015 by an independent family seeking to offer an array of home cooked, locally sourced food and refreshments.
On our most recent visit, my Cousin thoroughly enjoyed
their Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Salad, whilst I enjoyed their
Southern Fried Chicken Burger, Onion Rings and Chips, finnishing off with their delicious,
Chocolate Pudding,
and,
Poppy
enjoyed her
Puppy Pit Stop.
Having visited The Courtyard Cafe, Southsea multiple times over the past few years, for lunch, light snacks,
and hot drinks, I feel confident in recommending it to you.
Japan Inspires Baldi
Published 06 March
Situated in the grounds of Lumps Fort, Southsea, Hampshire, United Kingdom next to Southsea Rose Gardens,
Tsuru-Kou-En, Portsmouth Japanese Gardens
is constructed in the vein of a Traditional Japanese Dry garden.
Created by Takashi Sawano this inspirational Garden was opened in 2000 celebrating the link between Portsmouth, United Kingdom and Maizuru, Japan.
Translating as Crane Port Garden, the name cleverly combines elements from the two Cities.
Walking through the motivational Gardens we find Guzei,
or, Red Bridge which represents wisdom, transformation and all that is sacred and
The Lantern, or Toro representing the five Buddhist elements of Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Void amongst other inspiring elements from Japan.
Moving further into these inspired Gardens we find this
historical stone from Tanabe Castle built at the end of the 16th Century, and given to Portsmouth further cementing the link between the two cities.
Progressing on, we are greeted with a sort of figure of eight like shape enclosed by stones,
allowing you to discover
a covered seating area where you are able to reflect, think and relax in nature's inspirational surroundings.
If you've not yet visited, what are you waiting for? Come and celebrate cultural links and be inspired by nature!
See you in a future inspiring Blog, thanks for reading!
